For accuracy of your refraction and the health of your eyes

At Total Vision Eyecare, we believe in the most innovative and up to date technology for the accuracy of your refraction and the health of your eyes. Here are a few of the featured technologies found in our office.

Icare Tonometer

Icare Tonometry

Scared of the age-old “air puff”? We use the latest Icare tonometry at Total Vision, which features no air puff. Highly accurate and great for all ages, this tonometry method checks your eye pressure for glaucoma.

Potec Digital Refraction Suite

From reading your glasses to determining your final refraction, our fully digital exam lane features the latest technology to determine your glasses prescription. All information is sent wirelessly from one station to another, and then ultimately to our all digital electronic medical records system (EMR). This means a quicker, easier, more accurate refraction for you and your family.

Topcon MAESTRO2

Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) and Digital Retinal Photography w/ OCT-A

The Topcon Maestro 2 OCT uses cutting edge technology to scan the front and back of the eye at the microscopic level. These 3D scans are the best way to help diagnose diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic macular edema. This machine also features OCT Angiography (OCT-A), new technology to detect blood flow in cases like wet ARMD and diabetic retinopathy.

Virtual Field Machine

The virtual visual field machine by Virtual Vision offers the most state of the technology available for testing your central and peripheral vision. Gone are the days of sitting in a dark room with a huge machine for what seems like forever. You'll love the quicker and smarter technology.

Optomap

An Optomap scan, using Optos technology, is a non-invasive, quick eye exam that creates a 200 degree ultra-widefield image of the retina. Although Optomap is not a complete replacement for dilation, this technology enables your eye doctor to visualize the entire retina in one image while often performing dilation on a less frequent basis.

iLight IPL Pro

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) is the latest and most effective tool in the treatment of Dry Eye Disease. IPL works to treat inflamed blood vessels, reduce bacterial growth, and increase meibomian gland function. If you have moderate to severe dry eye, this is the best treatment available on the market today.

Dry Eye Analyzer

The Dry Eye Analyzer is a comprehensive dry eye tool that gives quantitative measurements to the dry eye symptoms you are experiencing. This includes meibography, tear breakup time, and tear meniscus height. This analysis is often performed before and after a comprehensive dry eye treatment protocol, enabling the patient to see quantitative improvement that matches their symptom improvement.

Topcon Myah

The Topcon Myah is an all-in-one device designed to facilitate myopia management and dry eye management by combining optical biometry, corneal topography, and meibomian gland imaging in a compact, easy-to-use instrument. Myopia management patients will love axial length measurements that require no drops and the advanced topography allows us to fit even the most complex contact lens patients.
