Get Checked Every 12 Months
Diabetic retinopathy is the leading cause of blindness in adults. Dr. Addison has 10 years of experience in diagnosing and following diabetic retinopathy. A diabetic eye exam provides a thorough check for retinopathy, including dilation. It is recommended that patients with diabetes have such an exam every 12 months. Upon completion of the diabetic eye exam we will send a report to your diabetic doctor.
Early Diagnosis with New Technology
Total Vision Eyecare’s 3D OCT-1 MAESTRO2 will soon feature the latest technology in the early diagnosis of diabetic retinopathy utilizing a new technology called OCT Angiography. This will enable us to detect retinopathy before it is visible to the naked eye. The health of your eyes is paramount to us, and we take our job as the protector of your sight very seriously.
